About Us

Owner and principal, Kristin H. Kirchen, has more than 15 years of experience in historic preservation and cultural resource management.  Most recently, she worked for the Virginia Department of Historic Resources for more than 8 years in the environmental review division and as the regional architectural historian for the central portion of Virginia.  She meets the Secretary of the Interior's Professional Qualification Standards for Architectural History.   

Our Practice

Our office is located in Richmond, Virginia, convenient to many of the statewide research institutions including the Library of Virginia, the Virginia Historical Society, and the Virginia Department of Historic Resources.   Our company is a certified SWaM business by the Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity.
